Berserk - S01

Guts, a wandering mercenary who will later be called the Black Swordsman, is a young fighter known for wielding an enormous greatsword. He takes on the highest-paying jobs but never sticks with one group for long-until he crosses paths with the Band of the Falcon. After finishing a job, Guts is ambushed by the group and defeats many of its members in battle. Griffith, the Band of the Falcon's leader, challenges him to a duel. While Guts easily overpowers the others, Griffith defeats him with a single strike. Knocked unconscious, Guts is taken to the Band of the Falcon's camp to recover. When he wakes two days later, he confronts Griffith, and they duel again-this time with a condition: if Guts loses, he must join the group. Still weakened from his injuries, he is defeated and forced into their ranks. Three years later, Guts has risen to become one of the Band of the Falcon's top commanders. On the battlefield, his skill is unmatched except by Griffith himself, as he cuts down entire enemy forces alone. With Guts' brute strength and Griffith's tactical genius, the group dominates every battle they fight. Yet a dark presence lingers in the shadows, waiting to reshape Guts' fate.
