Twelve-year-old Takumi Harada is already a baseball prodigy, known for his incredible pitching skills. When his family moves to the quiet town of Nitta, he ends up on his new school’s lackluster baseball team-though he doesn’t mind, finding it more exciting to turn a no-name club into a powerhouse himself. The only problem? His talent is so overwhelming that he needs a catcher who can actually handle his pitches. That’s when he meets Gou Nagakura, a fellow student and fan who’s determined to prove he’s more than just talk-he wants to show he has the skill to catch Takumi’s throws.
