Ayakashi - S01

As a child, Yuu Kusaka promised under a shooting star that he would fight for justice and protect the weak. But after losing a close friend, he abandons that ideal, ignoring the suffering around him and using his strange abilities only to earn money. His self-centered life changes when he’s attacked by a classmate with similar powers and is rescued by a girl named Eimu Yoake, who also possesses supernatural abilities. Eimu explains that his power comes from an "ayakashi," a parasitic creature that grants strength while slowly consuming its host’s life. With her help, Yuu awakens his ayakashi fully. Now, he must honor his childhood vow, using his power to fight others who wield ayakashi for evil-and uncover the truth behind his friend’s death.
