Arte - S01

In 16th-century Florence, the city thrives amid the cultural revival of the Renaissance. Arte, a spirited young woman from a noble family, dreams of becoming an artist and adding to this flourishing era. But after her father’s death-the only one who supported her passion-she is pressured to marry a nobleman and live as a proper lady, upholding her family’s dignity. Unwilling to surrender her ambitions, Arte sets out to find an artisan willing to take her on as an apprentice. Her search proves harsh-no one believes a woman can master fine craftsmanship, and she faces constant rejection. By chance, a skilled but solitary artisan named Leo agrees to teach her, if only because he has no other students. With this, Arte leaves behind her privileged life and begins a grueling apprenticeship. She must now work hard to support herself while overcoming the many obstacles on her journey to becoming a true master artisan.
