Rachel Gardner, her eyes dull and empty, longs for nothing but death. When she wakes up in a building’s basement, she has no memory of how or why she got there. She crosses paths with Zack, a bandaged killer desperate to escape. After he promises to kill her once they’re free, the two team up to climb the building’s floors one by one, hoping to break out. But as they move higher, they encounter more deranged individuals-and each one seems to know Rachel. What ties her to this place, and why was she brought here? With a dangerous foe waiting on every floor, will Rachel and Zack both get what they want?
