Alderamin on the Sky - S01

Ikta Solork is a laid-back young man with simple desires-a woman by his side and a good place to sleep. But his quiet life shatters when war erupts between the Katjvarna Empire and the Republic of Kioka. Forced into service, Ikta and his childhood friend Yatorishino Igsem enlist as military officers. Along the way, they meet Matthew Tetojirichi, a steadfast infantryman; Torway Remion, a sharp-eyed sniper; and Haroma Becker, a skilled medic, all aboard a ship bound for the military exams. Their journey takes a dangerous turn when a sudden storm wrecks their vessel, stranding them near an enemy outpost. There, they learn that Princess Chamille Kitora Katjvanmaninik, the Katjvarnan heir, has been captured. The five manage to rescue her, and in gratitude, they are each named Imperial Knights-a rare and prestigious honor. Now, Ikta must set aside his dreams of a peaceful life and step into a role he never asked for: that of a hero.
