Absolute Duo - S01

People who can summon weapons from their soul are known as "Blazers," and they train at Kouryou Academy High School to master their powers. Each student must partner with another, aiming to one day achieve the strength of Absolute Duo. Tooru Kokonoe enrolls at the academy seeking power after his sister and friends were killed by an unknown assailant. But during the opening ceremony, he’s forced to fight the student beside him in a duel where the loser gets expelled. As Tooru readies himself to give it everything he has, his soul doesn’t produce a weapon-instead, it forms a shield, an anomaly that draws the interest of a foreign student named Julie Sigtuna.
