Lufas Maphaahl, known as the "Black-Winged Tyrant," was once the Great Conqueror who united the world of Exgate under her rule. Her reign, said to be one of terror, only ended when seven heroes rose to overthrow her, bringing the player-driven event to a victorious conclusion-or so the player controlling Lufas believed. That changed when a mysterious message from the goddess of Exgate pulled him into the game world. Now, he wakes up in Lufas' body, two hundred years after her defeat, only to find Exgate on the verge of destruction by the Devil King. Forced into this unfamiliar role, he sets out to gather Lufas' most devoted followers, the "Twelve Heavenly Stars," while unraveling the truth behind his sudden summoning.
