After a rough stint teaching at a public high school that left him needing a break, Haruaki Abe jumps at the chance for a fresh start at Hyakki Academy. Despite his timid nature, he’s determined to do better this time-until he discovers the entire school is filled with youkai, supernatural beings who make him the lone human in a world he doesn’t understand. As the new homeroom teacher, Abe quickly becomes the target of his mischievous students, thanks to his easily spooked personality. But as he gets to know these creatures-and himself-better, he starts to realize that fitting in with his rowdy class might not be as impossible as he feared. Slowly, their school life together begins to brighten.
