Zipang - S01

A sudden shift in time alters the course of World War II. Commander Kadomatsu and his crew aboard Japan's advanced battlecruiser, the Mirai, were supposed to be conducting routine drills, testing the ship's cutting-edge Aegis system. Instead, they're thrown back to June 4, 1942-the day of the pivotal Battle of Midway, where Japan's navy suffered a devastating defeat. When Kadomatsu impulsively saves Kusaka, a pilot from a downed Zero fighter, the Mirai's crew realizes they've already interfered with history. They vow not to change the past any further, but their resolve is tested when they're dragged into an unexpected skirmish with a U.S. submarine-a battle that was never meant to happen. Now, their actions threaten to rewrite history itself.
