Long ago, the master mage Enno Ozuno fought a fierce battle against the demon goddess Karuma. Unable to defeat her alone, he summoned Zenki, a powerful guardian demon, to help. After their victory, Enno sealed Zenki inside a pillar within his temple. Twelve centuries later, Enno’s descendant Chiaki lives in Shikigami-cho, working as a tour guide and part-time exorcist to make ends meet. When two thieves break into the Ozuno temple to steal its rumored treasure, they accidentally release a dark force that possesses them, turning them into monstrous demons. As they wreak havoc in the temple, Chiaki finds herself in grave danger. Now, she must awaken her family’s ancient power to summon Zenki once more-not only to stop these demons but also to protect her town from the evil that threatens to follow.
