Young Black Jack

In 1960s Japan, a quiet but brilliant medical student named Kuroo Hazama stands out-not just for his striking black-and-white hair and scarred body, but for his extraordinary surgical skill. After performing a near-impossible operation, he begins gaining recognition. Working alongside the lively, principled intern Maiko Okamoto and his troubled friend Yabu, Hazama throws himself into the world of medicine. Yet his road to becoming a respected surgeon is far from easy. With student protests, war, and corruption tearing through the country, Hazama is pulled into dark circumstances that test both his morals and his future in medicine. "Young Black Jack" follows the journey of a man whose unmatched medical talent sets him on a path to becoming the infamous legend known as Black Jack.
