Waza no Tabibito

Humans once discovered an ideal energy source called "Patia," which provided unlimited food and fuel, making the world self-sufficient. As trade and transportation dwindled, civilization's progress came to a halt. Now, genetically altered plants dominate most of the land, making travel difficult. Cient, the leader of a fortress city, embarks on a journey with his daughter Ruri to uncover the lost technology of Patia. When Ruri is separated from her father, she is attacked by an ancient humanoid weapon. A wandering warrior named Tekuni, training to become a "Wazabito," rescues her.
