Wave, Listen to Me!

Restaurant worker Minare Koda is reeling from a painful breakup. After drowning her sorrows in alcohol one night, she spills her heart out to a stranger-Kanetsugu Matou, a radio director from Sapporo, Hokkaido. The next day, Minare is stunned to hear her drunken rant broadcast on the radio. Panicked, she storms into the station to demand they stop airing it. But when she confronts Matou, things take an unexpected turn: she ends up speaking live on air, explaining her messy outburst with surprising ease. Her lively, unfiltered delivery catches Matou’s attention, and he sees potential in her natural charisma. Before long, Minare finds herself hosting a late-night talk show under Matou’s guidance, sharing quirky stories set in Sapporo. Juggling her new role with her day job and personal life isn’t easy, but she makes it work-one candid conversation at a time.
