Viewtiful Joe - S01

Joe, a red-haired movie enthusiast, and his girlfriend Silvia are going through a rough patch. Silvia feels ignored and just wants them to spend time together, so Joe takes her to see an old action film starring his idol, Captain Blue. What should have been a simple date turns dangerous when Silvia gets sucked into the movie by Jado, the villainous leader of an evil group. Desperate to save her, Joe follows into the strange world of "Movieland," where Captain Blue gives him a powerful gadget called the V-Watch. Using it, Joe transforms into the superhero "Viewtiful Joe" and sets out to rescue Silvia before Jado can exploit her to conquer the world. It won’t be easy going from an ordinary guy to a full-fledged hero, but Joe’s determined to save both his girlfriend and the world-and he’ll do it in the most "viewtiful" way he can.
