Alto Goldfilled is a hardworking student at Ortigia Academy of Magic, determined to become a skilled sorcerer. Despite his strong dedication and top grades, he struggles in summoning class-failing the subject and risking having to repeat the year. In a last-ditch effort to fix his problem, he turns to an ancient, tattered grimoire. To his shock, the ritual works, and he summons a formidable demon named Vermeil. Grateful for her release, she agrees to serve as his familiar-though sealing their bond with an unexpectedly deep kiss.
