Vampire Hunter D

Ten thousand years in the future, the world has changed drastically. Monsters wander freely across the land, and while people possess advanced weapons and cybernetic horses, their way of life remains simple, reminiscent of ancient times. The story follows a small village suffering under the rule of Count Magnus Lee, a vampire lord who has dominated the region for millennia. When the Count bites a young girl and selects her as his latest victim, she turns to a mysterious drifter named D for help. Unbeknownst to her, D is one of the world’s most skilled vampire hunters. He takes up the task of battling the Count’s forces and ending his reign of terror.
