Valkyria Chronicles

The Second Europa War rages between Gallia and the East Europan Imperial Alliance, and the penal military unit known as the Nameless is caught in the middle, hunted by both sides. Branded as rebels by Gallia and pursued by the Empire, they struggle to survive in the chaos of war. Their situation worsens when Gusurg, their tank driver, deserts them to join the Imperial forces. After freeing a small town from Imperial control, the Nameless encounter Isara Welkin, a wounded tank driver from Gallia’s Squad 7. She tells their leader, Kurt Irving, that her squad is retreating from a failed mission and begs the Nameless to rescue them. Now they must choose: stay hidden to protect themselves, or risk everything to help the very nation that labeled them traitors.
