Useless Animals

Uruno, a wolf who doesn’t live up to his species’ reputation, is wandering in search of a home when he stumbles upon a forest full of "useless animals"-creatures that defy their typical traits. After a brief scuffle with Usahara, a foul-tempered rabbit who smokes, Uruno is ready to leave. But then he meets Chiiko, an awkward cheetah girl, and it’s love at first sight. Deciding to stay for her, Uruno clings to the hope that even a good-for-nothing like him might win her heart someday. Of course, surviving life among the forest’s oddball residents-including the smoking rabbit, a unicorn who drinks sake, an eagle with terrible eyesight, an orca who can’t swim, and a timid pegasus-might prove harder than winning Chiiko over.
