Centuries later, people have surrendered their freedom to the AI Grand Mother, which erases their memories at age 14 and assigns them predetermined roles in society. Jomy Marquis Shin, a thoughtful boy raised by caring parents, narrowly escapes this fate when Soldier Blue, leader of the Mu-a new race of humans with psychic powers-rescues him.
