Thermae Romae Novae

Lucius Modestus, a struggling Roman architect, can't seem to come up with fresh designs. His gloomy mood worries his friends, who drag him to a bathhouse to unwind. Overwhelmed by the noisy crowd, Lucius dunks his head underwater-only to discover a hidden tunnel that whisks him away to a modern Japanese bathhouse. The experience sparks his creativity, giving him the inspiration he desperately needed. Armed with ideas far beyond his time, Lucius attempts to recreate what he saw, though his versions often fall short due to limited resources. Still, the sheer originality of his work might just catch the public's eye and restore his reputation as a brilliant architect.
