The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic

Ken Usato is just an average high school student, bored with his mundane life and secretly hoping for something extraordinary to happen. His wish comes true when he’s suddenly whisked away to another world-alongside Kazuki Ryuusen and Suzune Inukami, two of his school’s most talented student council members. Upon arriving in the Llinger Kingdom, the three are declared the prophesied heroes meant to stop the Demon Lord’s invading forces. But there’s a problem: Usato wasn’t actually supposed to be summoned. Unlike his friends, he isn’t a chosen hero. Even so, Usato discovers he has a rare gift for healing magic. This draws the interest of Rose, the fearsome leader of the kingdom’s Rescue Team, who takes him under her wing-whether he likes it or not. Under her brutal training, Usato struggles to master his abilities, determined to grow strong enough to stand by his friends and shield them from the perils of this strange new world.
