The Moon on a Rainy Night

One day, as Saki hurries to her piano lesson, she bumps into a stranger on the street. Flustered, she gathers herself while the stranger picks up the sheet music Saki dropped, hands it back along with a band-aid, and walks away without a word. Saki is left curious about the tall, striking girl-until the next day, when she realizes the stranger is Kanon, a classmate at her new high school. Kanon is hearing impaired but refuses any help or "special treatment" from teachers or peers. As the year unfolds, Saki gradually gets to know Kanon, slowly breaking through her distant demeanor.
