In 2403 AD, a young student named Satoru meets Alisa, a time traveler from the future. The pair journey back to the 21st century, but a glitch sends them tumbling through seemingly random moments tied to religion and history. This is the third animated film from Japan's "Kyoufuku no Kagaku" ("The Institute for Research in Human Happiness"),often compared to Scientology.
