The Girl in Twilight - S01

The urban legend of the 4:44 ritual claims that if you play specific radio frequencies in front of the Akeyuki Sacred Tree at exactly 4:44, you’ll be sent to another dimension. When Asuka Tsuchimiya and her friends-Nana Nanase, Mia Silverstone, Yuu Tounaka, and Chloe Morisu-decide to try the ritual as part of their Crystal Radio Research Club activities, they’re stunned when it actually works. The five are transported to a parallel world, or "fragment," where they meet a strange yet familiar girl: another version of Asuka. This alternate Asuka, nicknamed "Seriouska" for her stern demeanor and combat skills, warns them about the Twilight-a force erasing possibilities from all parallel worlds. To stop the destruction, Seriouska is determined to kill the Twilight King, the man behind the catastrophe. As the girls search for him, they must also confront their own identities and insecurities. But the key to defeating the Twilight may be nearer than they realize.
