The Gentle Crackdown II

The world of "Tenshi no Tamago" is bleak and surreal, stripped of the usual rhythms of daily life. Strange sights fill the landscape: floating orbs holding goddess statues, massive unmanned tanks, fishermen chasing shadows of fish that aren’t there, and caves lined with nothing but glass containers of water. A young girl wanders this ruined world, carrying a large egg and searching for scraps of food and water. She meets a man with a cross on his shoulder, who grows intrigued by her and the secret of the egg she protects. Together, they travel through the broken remains of their world, asking each other about faith, the meaning of existence, and where they-and everything around them-came from.
