The Daughter of Twenty Faces - S01

To the public, Nijuu Mensou is a notorious thief known for his meticulously planned heists and the cryptic warnings he sends before striking. But unlike ordinary criminals, he refuses to kill and only targets those he considers corrupt. During a job at the Mikamo household, Nijuu Mensou encounters 11-year-old Chizuko-called "Chiko"-who lives with her aunt and uncle after her parents' death. Though she stands to inherit a fortune, her home life is far from happy, and she longs to escape. Her wish is unexpectedly granted when Nijuu Mensou steals not only a prized family jewel but also Chiko herself. Eager for a fresh start, Chiko quickly becomes part of the thief's crew, learning his tricks and finding the warmth of a real family among her new partners. Yet as she gains fame as Nijuu Mensou's adopted daughter, she soon discovers that the title brings its own dangers.
