TAMAYOMI: The Baseball Girls

Yomi Takeda and Tamaki Yamazaki grew up loving baseball. They spent their childhood playing catch together, and through those games, Yomi realized she had a special talent for throwing the ball in a way that felt almost magical. The two made a promise to keep playing baseball no matter what, but soon after, life pulled them apart. Years later, Tamaki became a skilled catcher, while Yomi never pursued baseball seriously despite her natural ability. Ready to leave her passion behind, Yomi starts high school at Shin Koshigaya, determined to avoid anything to do with baseball. But fate has other plans-she meets Yoshino and Ibuki Kawaguchi, twins who are just as enthusiastic about the sport. Even more unexpectedly, she reunites with Tamaki. When they play catch again, just like old times, Yomi’s love for pitching reignites. Together, Yomi and Tamaki decide to honor their childhood promise. With the help of Yoshino and Ibuki, they work to revive their school’s dormant baseball team. As more members join, the group finally feels complete, and their new ambition takes shape: Shin Koshigaya’s girls' baseball team is aiming for nothing less than the national championship.
