takt op.Destiny

The United States has been in turmoil since the appearance of the D2s, an invasive species born from a black meteorite that struck Earth. To curb the devastation caused by the D2s' violent reaction to music, a government decree banned all melodies-a law still enforced in 2047. The only protection humanity has against these creatures are the Musicarts, young women embodying classical compositions, and their Controllers, the Conductors who command them. Takt Asahina, a detached piano prodigy, becomes a Conductor after an unexpected D2 attack. The same incident claims the life of Anna Schneider's younger sister, Cosette, and binds Takt to his Musicart, Destiny. Hoping to solidify their unstable partnership, Takt, Destiny, and Anna set out on a dangerous journey to New York City’s Symphonica Headquarters. Takt is desperate to reach the city so he can play piano again, even though his love for music draws the very creatures he loathes. Meanwhile, Destiny’s unwavering sense of responsibility leads the group into constant peril. With the road ahead swarming with D2s and countless other challenges, can the three of them survive the trip to New York?
