Taisho Otome Fairy Tale

Tamahiko Shima, a self-proclaimed pessimist, lives in isolation in the mountains of Chiba after a car accident claimed his mother’s life and left his right hand useless. His wealthy family, led by his dismissive father, considers him a lost cause and has exiled him to this remote life. Days pass with little purpose-filled with reading and restless nights haunted by despair. Bound by the Shima family’s pride, Tamahiko accepts his fate: to remain here until death finally frees him. One snowy night, a knock at the door disrupts his solitude. Standing outside is 14-year-old Yuzuki Tachibana, who declares she has come to marry him. Tamahiko recalls his father’s vague promise to send a bride to help with his daily struggles. Though Yuzuki was sold into the arrangement to settle her family’s debts, she is kind, hardworking, and genuinely devoted to him. Will Tamahiko, hardened by bitterness, remain indifferent to the warmth she brings into his bleak existence?
