Tomoe Shiro is a talented racer whose career takes a sharp turn when a near-fatal crash leaves him with his car's engine replacing his heart. Though he survives, racing officials declare him more machine than man, stripping him of the right to compete as a regular pilot. His only chance to race again lies on a distant colonial planet, where other outcast drivers-each with their own unique stories-gather to prove themselves. There, he'll race for pride and prize money in a high-stakes rally unlike any other.
