After losing his wife, Kouhei Inuzuka does his best to raise his young daughter Tsumugi on his own. But between his demanding job as a teacher and his limited cooking skills, he often resorts to feeding her store-bought meals. Disheartened by his inability to prepare proper home-cooked food, Kouhei accepts an invitation from one of his students, Kotori Iida, to dine at her family’s restaurant. However, they soon learn that the place is frequently closed because Kotori’s mother is often away for work, leaving the girl to eat by herself. Moved by her loneliness, Kouhei agrees to keep visiting the restaurant with Tsumugi, where they cook and share homemade meals together. "Amaama to Inazuma" is a touching story about a father’s efforts to bring happiness to his daughter while discovering the deeper meaning of cooking, family, and the simple warmth of shared meals.
