Inspired by the classic Japanese novel "Nanso Satomi Hakkenden" by Kyokutei Takizawa (1767),this story reimagines the tale in a futuristic setting. Long after a celestial war over the eight moons created by the savior Fuse, only the Oowari family remains in power, controlling all but one moon-Meiten, the domain of the pope, which avoided conflict. Eight individuals, each from one of the moons and bearing a jewel that represents an element of Earth, are destined to save humanity. Bound by duty to Queen Fuse, they have sacrificed much for these jewels. When the deranged Emperor Kai seeks to resurrect a spirit determined to stop Earth’s restoration, the eight must wield their jewels’ power to fight back. Their journey leads them to Kusanagi, a ship at the heart of God’s land. There, they must unite their jewels within the key known as Yatsufusa to forge a new Earth and overcome those who stand in their way.
