Samurai: Hunt for the Sword - S01

During the late Edo period, discontent simmers among those who wish to overthrow the Tokugawa shogunate. Shinjuro Tateoka, the unremarkable son of a respected dojo master, finds himself in charge when his father, Tessyusai, is abruptly summoned away on a shogunate mission. As the dojo loses most of its usual students, a group of young girls takes their place. At first, life at the swordsmanship school remains oddly calm-until the shogunate orders all major dojos to help patrol the city in response to a string of robberies. The thieves, however, appear to have ambitions beyond mere theft. Caught between his lively new routine with the girls and the demands of the government, Shinjuro must navigate a growing crisis.
