Deep in the shadowy depths of the UnderNet, Forte drifts in restless slumber. A surge of energy jolts him awake in this digital wasteland, warning him of a looming threat. A grotesque face emerges from a swirling mass of bright purple, laughing mockingly at him. Forte tries to fight back but is helpless as the blob solidifies and engulfs him. As evening falls, life in a quiet city carries on as usual. People on the street pause at the sight of a strange purple glow, only for it to erupt into a towering pillar of light that stretches into the sky. Panic spreads as the pillar rises, consuming everything in its wake. The chime of a clock tower marks 4 o’clock just as the pillar vanishes, leaving behind eerie cybernetic debris and a hollow silence. "The Program of Light and Dark"
