Seishou Music Academy is getting ready for its annual Seishou Festival, and the girls of the 99th class are preparing to perform their version of "Starlight," a tragic story about two goddesses drawn together by the stars but doomed to be forever separated. The academy, a school exclusively for girls, trains its students in singing, acting, and dancing to cultivate the next generation of theater talent. Among the students is 16-year-old Karen Aijou, a carefree girl who has always dreamed of performing on stage. Her passion for theater reignites when her childhood friend, Hikari Kagura, transfers to Seishou Academy. Through Hikari, Karen discovers a hidden elevator that leads to a vast underground theater. Run by a talking giraffe, this theater is the stage for duels where students compete for the title of "Top Star," granting the winner a lead role in "Starlight." Determined to fulfill the promise she and Hikari made to become stars together, Karen throws herself into these mysterious battles, hoping to turn their dream into reality.
