Red River - S01

Yuri, a young Japanese woman, is overjoyed after passing her college entrance exam and sharing her first kiss with her childhood friend, now her boyfriend. But her happiness doesn’t last. She begins to notice water behaving strangely around her, churning and reacting whenever she approaches. One evening, ghostly hands emerge from a puddle in the street and pull her beneath the surface. She awakens in an ancient Middle Eastern village, where armed soldiers capture her and deliver her to the Queen’s palace-intended as a sacrificial offering.
