Psycho-Pass: Providence

In 2113, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) shut down its covert paramilitary team, the Peacebreakers, but the squad vanished without a trace, leaving their operations shrouded in secrecy. Five years later, the Peacebreakers reappear, killing Milcia Stronskaya, a scientist who held classified documents critical to the future of the Sybil System-Japan’s surveillance framework designed to identify potential criminals before they act. To handle the case and prepare for a confrontation with the Peacebreakers alongside the MFA, the Public Safety Bureau chief brings back former Enforcer Shinya Kougami, who had left the force years earlier and now works under Frederica Hanashiro at the MFA. Kougami’s return stirs friction with his old colleagues, Akane Tsunemori and Nobuchika Ginoza, but they must put aside their unresolved conflicts to protect the Sybil System from impending threats.
