Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!

On his 10th birthday, Satoshi oversleeps and ends up with a stubborn Pikachu instead of the starter Pokémon he’d hoped for. After a rough beginning, though, the two grow close and become true partners. When they spot the legendary Houou flying overhead, they decide to chase after it, guided by the Rainbow Wing it leaves behind. Satoshi is joined by fellow Trainers Makoto and Souji on his journey. Along the way, he rescues an abandoned Hitokage, raises a Caterpie into a Butterfree before letting it go to follow its dreams, and encounters the mysterious Mythical Pokémon Marshadow. But as they near their goal, Cross-Hitokage’s arrogant former Trainer-blocks their path. Can Satoshi and Pikachu overcome this powerful opponent and reach Houou like they promised, or will their journey end here?
