Long ago, the once-great Kingdom of the Vale fell into chaos when the ruler's two sons turned against each other. Their battle awakened the Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom, disrupting the Dragon Force-the kingdom's source of power. With Victini's help, peace was restored, and the Dragon Force was sealed by the Sword of the Vale. But if the Sword is ever removed, disaster will strike again. Damon, a descendant of the scattered People of the Vale, seeks to reclaim his people's lost kingdom. He summons Zekrom, intending to pull the Sword from its resting place and claim the Dragon Force for himself. Meanwhile, Satoshi and his friends arrive in Eindoak Town, nestled beneath the Sword of the Vale. When they uncover Damon's plan, they join forces with Victini, the guardian of the Vale, to stop him and prevent history's ancient tragedy from repeating.
