Pokémon Heroes

As Ash and his friends travel through Johto, they arrive in Altomare, a coastal city known for its yearly Pokémon Water Race. While Brock and Misty relax, Ash experiences strange events-he mysteriously loses the race, witnesses two women attacking a girl with their Pokémon, and after saving her, the girl later claims she’s never met him or Pikachu. Ash soon learns the truth: the girl he rescued was actually Latias, a Pokémon who enjoys taking the form of her human friend, Kanon. Latias and her companion, Latios, are the legendary Eon Pokémon, protectors of Altomare and its sacred treasure, the Soul Dew. The city’s ancient lore ties closely to these Pokémon and their duty, a story familiar to its people-and to the thieves Zanner and Lyon, who had attacked Latias earlier. Now, with the thieves plotting to steal both the Eon Pokémon and the Soul Dew, Ash must step in before their greed unleashes catastrophe on Altomare.
