In a world where humans, demihumans, and oni are locked in bitter conflict, Princess Saltorine "Sally" Aldike embarks on a quest to find a mysterious figure named Mikoto Kibitsu. As she travels, Sally uncovers harsh truths hidden from her by her royal upbringing-including the terrifying realization that the oni wield power capable of erasing humanity. Sally possesses a unique ability marked by a peach-shaped sigil, granting her strength to overpower even the mightiest oni. Despite this advantage, she refuses to treat humans, demihumans, or oni as enemies, clinging to the hope of eventual peace among the three races. Mikoto, however, shares Sally's power but wields it with far deadlier skill-and a far darker purpose. Driven by vengeance, Mikoto seeks to exterminate every last oni, no matter the cost.
