Paranoia Agent

A mysterious attacker known as Shounen Bat is spreading fear through Musashino City. Skating on rollerblades and wielding a golden baseball bat, he strikes without warning, leaving victims in his wake. The first target, Tsukiko Sagi-a shy but respected character designer-is even accused of being behind the attacks. With only her pink stuffed animal, Maromi, on her side, Tsukiko becomes just one of many caught in Shounen Bat's violence. Detectives Keiichi Ikari and Mitsuhiro Maniwa take on the case, but as more people fall victim to the golden bat, panic grips the city. Whispers and rumors grow, feeding paranoia among adults and children. The question lingers: can the detectives uncover the truth before the fear consumes them too?
