Paradise Kiss

On her way home from school, Yukari Hayasaka is stopped by a strange man with spiky blond hair, a spiked choker, and several facial piercings. He stares at her intently, making her uneasy, so she quickly runs away-only to collide with a tall, striking woman with purple hair and a floral design around her eye. The shock overwhelms Yukari, and she passes out. When she wakes up, she finds herself in a peculiar place called the Atelier. The odd strangers turn out to be fashion designers from Yazawa Art Academy, the most prestigious art school around. Their group wants Yukari to model for their brand in the academy’s upcoming show. Yukari refuses and manages to escape, but she accidentally leaves her school ID behind. George Koizumi, the group’s lead designer, finds it and becomes convinced she’s the perfect model for them. Determined, he sets out to recruit her, no matter what. Modeling had never crossed Yukari’s mind before-but could this eccentric world of fashion and art actually be enjoyable? Or will she lose herself in their whirlwind of passion and creativity?
