On a cruise ship bound for the beautiful Cenancle Island, Nene Nanakorobi-a cheerful full-body cyborg who dreams of world peace-meets the inventor Uzal Delilah. They quickly befriend each other, along with Uzal’s pet cyborg, Clarion, a cat-like combat android. After they part ways, a terrorist attack strikes the island, endangering their newfound friendship. This ability lets Nene temporarily wield extraordinary skills unseen in the rapidly advancing world. Together, Nene and Clarion take on missions-rescuing children from burning malls, stopping reckless thieves-all in pursuit of world peace. But their goal is far from simple. B.U.E.R, a sentient laser shaped like a twisted teddy bear, menaces them with his perverse nature and chaotic power. Worse still, Takumi Korobase, Nene’s guardian and a genius inventor, takes a dangerous interest in B.U.E.R.
