A jobless man finds a flyer seeking investors to fund the recovery of a sunken ship-each share costs just 10 yen. For him, barely able to afford cheap shochu, even this small amount feels impossibly out of reach. Later that night, he stumbles into a bar, drinks heavily, and passes out. When he wakes up, he discovers he’s deep underwater. There, he encounters a skeptical samurai who warms to him upon realizing they’re both Japanese. Together, they search for treasure and soon stumble upon the wreck of the Mononai-go. What fate awaits them?
