Otaku no Video - S01

Inspired by the real origins of Gainax, "Otaku no Video" explores the world of otaku culture through the story of Takeshi Kubo. At first, he leads an ordinary life, but after falling in with a group of otaku, he gradually embraces their lifestyle. Eventually, he leaves his old life behind, aiming to become the ultimate otaku-the "otaking." The story is interspersed with documentary-style interviews featuring actual otaku, covering not just anime and manga enthusiasts but also sci-fi fans, military buffs, and other niche hobbyists in Japan.
