Three hundred years ago, a failed genetic experiment mutated all the forests on Earth. Awakened with consciousness, the plants turned against humanity, sparking a war that left the planet in ruins. Now, a boy named Agito lives with his father in Neutral City, a settlement clinging to a fragile peace with the hostile forest nearby. While fetching water one day, Agito loses his friend and discovers something incredible-a girl named Toola Cm Sacl, asleep inside an ancient machine. After Agito wakes her, he brings Toola to the village. But her presence draws dangerous attention. Shunack, a soldier from the past, manipulates Toola into leaving with him, despite Agito’s warnings. Convinced she holds the secret to healing the world, Agito harnesses the forest’s power and sets out to rescue her, hoping to bridge the divide between humanity and nature once and for all.
