Once Upon a Witch's Death

Meg Raspberry has grown up surrounded by magic, raised by Faust, the Eternal Witch. All she wants is to become a witch as skilled as her mentor. But on her seventeenth birthday, Faust delivers a devastating blow-Meg has only a year left to live. A curse from birth means that once she turns eighteen, her body will age rapidly, and she’ll die within days. Faust offers one glimmer of hope: if Meg can consume a seed of life, she might survive. To create the seed, she must gather a thousand tears of joy in twelve months. Though the task seems impossible, Meg sets out on her journey, determined to save herself. Along the way, she crosses paths with countless people, each carrying their own stories.
