Yuu, Haru, and Kotona are close friends living a peaceful high school life-until one day, a stranger attacks and stabs Kotona. Helpless to stop it, Yuu and Haru rush her to the hospital, only to narrowly escape being hit by a truck. Instead of disaster, they wake in a strange, fairy-tale kingdom filled with unusual people and magical creatures. Even more surprising, Yuu, who has used a wheelchair his whole life, suddenly finds he can walk. But before they can make sense of it, they realize Kotona is missing. Determined to find her, the boys stop at a local pub for information. There, they see a portrait of the kingdom’s princess, Asha-and what they discover leaves them stunned.
